The World

One world, fractured

The Grid was once one living world, written in rune-code. The Fracture split it into separate worlds joined by unstable Seams. Somewhere beneath it all, the Root is the old Grid’s hidden mind.

The common enemy

A technocratic empire ruling from the Spire that calls itself the restorer of the Grid. Black glass, cold white light, mirrored visors, and a single glass-eye sigil.

Its plan, the Patch, would force every broken world back into one Grid under its control.
